Welcome to the Solera MEP engineering design services web site!
We started in 2017 as a sole proprietor consulting firm providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design services and now have a staff of 5. We are currently developing in-house fire sprinkler (F) system design. As a result, our clients will soon have access to full “one stop” MEPF design and associated engineering stamp approval services. Our mission remains the same: project delivery excellence; a fair profit; and some fun along the way.
Solera’s client base covers a wide spectrum of public and private sector entities throughout Bend, Central Oregon, and the Eugene Metropolitan area. These include construction, commercial building, residential building, energy, manufacturing companies, and government agencies.
To achieve consistent project delivery excellence, we must first satisfy the regulatory agencies that approve our designs and the contractors and subcontractors that build them. And a big part of satisfying the agencies involves mentoring, empowering, and listening to our employees. We hire design professionals that thrive in a work environment where they are free to create, innovate, and direct their career path in support of our mission.
Solera’s design process ensures we don’t over-engineer (which leads to excessive costs). We help our clients avoid capital and operational inefficiencies, thereby setting the stage for outstanding long-term project performance. We incorporate value engineering early on in our design process to help our clients meet their performance specifications at the lowest cost. And throughout their projects, we communicate frequently with our clients to ensure their expectations are met.
