Solera MEP Design Services is a small and growing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design firm based in Bend, Oregon. Our mission: project delivery excellence, fair profit, and some fun.

We have a diverse and growing set of Central Oregon clients and a staff focused on delivering their MEP and associated life safety project needs. Solera provides solutions in a number of areas, including: energy conservation, system condition assessments, troubleshooting, sustainable design, and cross-functional expertise and collaboration between our design, commissioning, and energy teams.

Our clientele includes public and private sector leaders in the construction, commercial building (e.g., apartments, retail, medical/dental, restaurants) residential building, energy, manufacturing, and government agency sectors. We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Electrical Engineer

EIT or above

We are seeking an electrical engineer (entry level or above) for a full-time position in our downtown Bend, Oregon office. Regardless of your level of experience, you will receive excellent mentorship from Solera President Roger Whitaker, PE (with over 30 years of engineering design experience), and associated support from his MEP team. More than anything, we’re looking for an individual who’s the right fit: someone who can become an immediate contributor to our team with an interest in future firm ownership. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Detail-oriented data entry across multiple databases
  • Frequent resolution of client service requests
  • System design across multiple disciplines
  • Problem-solving/research abilities

Qualifications

  • BS Electrical Engineering
  • A task-oriented individual who works effectively on an independent and team member basis
  • Dependable, self-starter

Experience

  • Track record of positions showing increasing level of responsibility
  • Revit experience/expertise a plus
  • Business development (marketing and/or sales) experience a plus
